About Industrial Hemp Farms

Industrial Hemp Farms (IHF) was founded in 2018 in Colorado. They have a focus on wholesale hemp and are best known for their flower. Industrial Hemp Farms also sells directly to consumers with the lowest price per milligram of CBD that I have tested.

The good

  • Industrial Hemp Farms claims to have the best price guaranteed. They ain’t lying. Average full-spectrum CBD costs about 10 cents per milligram of CBD. Our lab results found that the 5000 mg formula came in at under 1 cent per milligram of CBD.
  • It's real. Not only is Industrial Hemp Farms the cheapest, but our four independent lab tests (click on products above to display lab tests) also found that their products are authentic.
  • Industrial Hemp Farms claims to be one of the top 3 worldwide distributors of hemp. And I believe them. There is no way they could offer a price this low without a gigantic scale of operation.

The bad

  • Our labs found that their full spectrum oil has large amounts of CBD and CBG. It also has moderate to low levels of THC. However, it has a low ratio of CBC and only traces of other cannabinoids. I wonder if they are adding together isolated CBD, CBG, and low amounts of THC. The oils also don’t have a hemp flavor, which makes me think it’s from isolates. Isolated cannabinoids are ok too, but it probably doesn’t contain the terpenes and other nutrients found in a full spectrum extract. This may be a perfect blend if you want an extract that tastes great with significant CBD levels, CBG levels, and relatively low THC.
  • The labels look cheap, with ink running down the sides. However, the bottle is high quality and the droppers are labeled. For the low price, who cares what the bottle looks like?
  • Industrial Hemp Farms has a terrible reputation on Reddit for low-quality flower and lousy customer service: example 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. They also have positive reviews, but a substantial amount of negative reviews are concerning. It seems like they may have quality control issues. However, it's hard to get consistent results from multiple farms and a scale of operation as big as IHF. There was nothing wrong with the CBD oils that I received or their independent lab tests.
  • F rating by the Better Business Bureau (May 2021).
  • IHF has a negative score on sitejabber.com
  • Reviewers on Trustpilot claim IHF has fake reviews. They're accused of only publishing 5-star reviews, suggesting they are throwing out critical reviews (May 2021). Reviewers on other platforms also indicate that Industrial Hemp Farms manipulates their reviews.

The Internet:

  • An extensive internet search for Industrial Hemp Farms found no reports of inconsistency, toxins, pesticides, metals, or fake products. There were many negative reviews that I mentioned above that questioned the business ethics of Industrial Hemp Farms.
