We purchased this CBD product and tested it at independent testing facilities to measure levels of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids and compare the results to the manufacturer's claims. Here are the results. (Learn more about our review process.)
* Products tested prior to 2020 were sent to only one independent testing facility.
The unadulterated test results on this page come directly from these certificates of analysis from two independent labs, which we pay directly. These are two independent lab tests of one product, at one point in time. We do not guarantee that all products or labs will produce the same results. Lab results may differ based on the different methodologies of testing used by each lab or inconsistencies in the product. Added ingredients may affect lab results. Volume of creams and edibles may change due to factors such as temperature, and this may impact lab results. Learn more about our review process.
Garden of Life claims to have 10 mg of CBD per 1 mL serving. We found that each 1 mL serving contains about 10.5 mg of CBD and trace or non-detectable levels of other cannabinoids.
Garden of Life claims this is a broad-spectrum extract that contains the cannabinoids found in full-spectrum CBD, but without the THC.
Although lab A found trace levels of THC, the levels are likely too low to have any positive or negative effect. Lab B reports the THC levels as non-detectable. The THC levels reported by lab A are below the detection level of many labs. Because the levels of THC found are only trace and lab B does not confirm them, we believe that Garden of Life has honest labeling for THC.
Like most broad-spectrum products, this product does not have significant levels of other cannabinoids.
We found that Garden of Life contained between 4% and 8% more CBD than suggested by their label. Both labs found that they are accurate.
Suggested Use: Adults take 1 dropper (1 mL) one or more times daily as desired.
