Warning (see failed lab tests and company profile)
We purchased this CBD product and tested it at independent testing facilities to measure levels of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids and compare the results to the manufacturer's claims. Here are the results. (Learn more about our review process.)
* Products tested prior to 2020 were sent to only one independent testing facility.
The unadulterated test results on this page come directly from these certificates of analysis from two independent labs, which we pay directly. These are two independent lab tests of one product, at one point in time. We do not guarantee that all products or labs will produce the same results. Lab results may differ based on the different methodologies of testing used by each lab or inconsistencies in the product. Added ingredients may affect lab results. Volume of creams and edibles may change due to factors such as temperature, and this may impact lab results. Learn more about our review process.
Green Garden Gold claims to have 50 mg of CBD per 1 mL serving. We found 56 to 59 mg of CBD per 1 mL serving. The trace levels of THC are insignificant.
Green Garden Gold was 1.5 cents per milligram. The average full-spectrum extract (products with CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids) costs 10 cents per milligram of CBD, according to my 2020 analysis of over 800 CBD products.
• 4 oz (120 mL)
• 6000 mg CBD
• Flavor: Original
• Hemp extract (unspecific)
• THC: conflicting claims (0 mg listed on the bottle, but website claims full spectrum)
• Other cannabinoids: Yes
Instructions: Instructions: Use 1-2 droppers daily or as desired.
Green Garden Gold claims their 6000 mg is full spectrum on their website, suggesting that it contains THC. However, the bottle claims explicitly 0 THC. These are conflicting THC claims.
Our independent lab tests found CBD, CBC, and trace levels of other cannabinoids. The trace levels of THC are insignificant.
The independent labs found 12% to 17% more CBD than suggested by their label. However, their THC claims were conflicting.
The Green Garden Gold 750 mg formula failed both of our independent lab tests. I can’t recommend Green Garden Gold’s 6000 mg Med Pac formula when their 750 mg Med Pac formula failed both independent lab tests. Check out our background check of Green Garden Gold here, which also has some concerns.
The cost of their 6000 mg formula was excellent at 1.5 cents per milligram of CBD. However, this product had conflicting THC claims.
The 6000 mg formula has a smooth taste for hemp extract that is slightly sweet. The oil is light and that's a good thing. I give the flavor a thumbs up. However, it doesn't have the amounts of THC and other cannabinoids I would expect in a full spectrum. A good taste is easier to achieve when you're leaving out cannabinoids.
Over 56 mg of CBD per mL dose is large. It also had some CBC and trace levels of other cannabinoids. THC was insignificant. This product had conflicting THC claims.
*It's common to see CBD doses at 5 mg, 15 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg for consumer products. Researchers use much larger doses (25 mg to 1500 mg of CBD). CBD dosing is highly individualized.
It’s a giant 4 oz bottle. The logo looks generic, but the quality of the materials is decent. However, the bottle and website have conflicting THC info.
This formula doesn't contain enough THC to justify the full spectrum claim on their website. However, the bottle states 0 THC. We found insignificant trace levels of THC. Their smaller 750 mg formula bottle failed both our lab tests. Between the failed tests and conflicting THC claims, I can't recommend any Green Garden Gold products.
