We purchased this CBD product and tested it at independent testing facilities to measure levels of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids and compare the results to the manufacturer's claims. Here are the results. (Learn more about our review process.)
The unadulterated test results on this page come directly from these certificates of analysis from two independent labs, which we pay directly. These are two independent lab tests of one product, at one point in time. We do not guarantee that all products or labs will produce the same results. Lab results may differ based on the different methodologies of testing used by each lab or inconsistencies in the product. Added ingredients may affect lab results. Volume of creams and edibles may change due to factors such as temperature, and this may impact lab results. Learn more about our review process.
JustCBD claims to have 10 mg of CBD per gummy. Lab A found 9.841 mg of CBD per gummy. Note that the above graph is in grams and you should click on the lab test for more precise info.
The average CBD edible cost 13 cents per milligram of CBD, according to my 2020 analysis of over 450 hemp edibles. JustCBD’s gummies came in at 4.9 cents per milligram at the $45 price range.
· Approx. 100 gummies or 351 g
· 1000 mg CBD (10 mg per gummy)
· Flavor: multi-flavor gummies: cherry, watermelon, green apple, etc.
· Pure CBD
· THC: No
· Other cannabinoids: No
JustCBD claims these gummies contain “hemp extract CBD,” which I assume contains just CBD and no other cannabinoids. Our lab tests confirmed JustCBD gummies were just CBD with no other cannabinoids.
The independent labs found that JustCBD contained 8% to 27% less CBD. However, that figure was based on JustCBD’s estimated total weight. Lab A found 9.841 mg of CBD per gummy, which is exceptional for a 10 mg gummy (open the lab results for exact figures). There are “approximately 100 gummies” in the jar. Edibles are challenging to measure because sizes and weights vary. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are very accurate. Lab B could have been off for multiple reasons I list below.
Jeremy’s Disclaimer: edibles often have inconsistent lab results. Manufacturers often have varying amounts of cannabinoids in each gummy, and gummies usually come in slightly different sizes. However, edibles are also more challenging for my labs to test than oil because of various factors (weight, ingredients, testing methodologies, etc.). For example, chocolate has been known to change THC testing accuracy and there are tons of ingredients in edibles that may or may not do the same. My opinion is that gummies are for fun and not for precise dosing of CBD or other cannabinoids.
JustCBD was founded in 2017 and is one of the most prominent CBD brands. These gummies contain proper amounts of CBD, according to Lab A. The price was 4.9 cents per milligram of CBD, which is a fraction of most CBD edibles. The taste? These taste like gummy bears. They have zero hemp flavor or zero bitterness of any sort. You would think that these are just good old gummy bears with all the fake flavors you’d expect. Yeah, they’re not organic. However, the price and taste of these gummies are exceptional. These are some of the best pure CBD gummy bears that I’ve tried.
