About the company
Lazarus Naturals was founded in 2014 in Seattle, Washington and has 51 to 200 employees according to glassdoor.com.
The good:
- Lazarus Naturals is listed as one of the top ten trending CBD brands.
- Lazarus Naturals made the first-ever CBD sponsorship deal in baseball with the Portland Pickles.
- NBC 6 Investigators found that Lazarus Naturals was one of two companies that contained the amount of CBD suggested on their label.
- Lazarus Naturals offers up to 60% off to veterans, disabled, and low-income individuals who qualify.
- Labdoor.com gave Lazarus Naturals an A score for purity (no toxins) and CBD accuracy.
The bad:
Nothing to see here.
Fixed (9/20 update):
- A news investigation found that a Lazarus Naturals product had lead contamination. However, the product was purchased on a website known for counterfeit CBD called Groupon and was most likely fake. Labdoor.com tested Lazarus products from the actual company and found no metal toxins and proper CBD amounts. I’ll keep the reference for transparency, but I believe that NBC 4 was reckless and sloppy to test a fake CBD product purchased off the street (Groupon). Original text: NBC 4 New York’s investigation team found that a Lazarus Naturals product contained high levels of lead, however, the product was purchased on Groupon and may have been counterfeit, according to NBC. The product’s label looked different from an authentic Lazarus product. Counterfeit CBD is common and the NBC team also tested four other Lazarus products that were safe. Lazarus also claims this was not their product. (It appears that this was a counterfeit product purchased on Groupon and you don’t need to worry about authentic Lazarus products, but we at CBD Examine commit to publishing all findings.)

We tested the $32 bottle (15 mL) of the CBD Tincture. The price drops from 3 cents to 1.9 cents per mg of CBD as you spend more on their larger size bottles. It’s incredibly cheap.

I have reviewed one other full spectrum oil on this website. This one and that one, do indeed help with [*Edited]. A condition for which I have been prescribed pharmaceuticals but the have some pretty bad side effects. Lazarus has a very good quality oil. I have tried others but not had very good results with them. Thank you.

My 10 year-old shih-tzu could not climb my porch stairs anymore due to his disc issues. As I had discontinued my brief use of Lazarus CBD Oil due to positive thc test readings, I dosed him with human grade full-specrtum and he showed marked improvement. He seemed confident in his attempt to climb the stairs immediately. After the second day, he ran up the stairs and has been successfully negotiating them ever since. Early on in his dosing, I stopped the cbd oil for a couple of days and he was not able to climb the stairs again. I resumed the Lazarus cbd oil and he immediately responded. As a side note, Jasper’s annual blood tests have been within appropriate ranges.

I was really happy with Lazarus Naturals until last week. Their products are very good. I bought their RSO which works really well and they are very generous with their discount for military and the permanently disabled. I had an issue with my CBD oil tasting weird. I didn’t know it expired because it had no date on it. I called their customer service and she very disinterested. She didn’t care at all! She said after a year it expires even though it was just over 13 months. She said basically too bad and there was nothing she was going to do about it. She said I must have wiped off the expiration date. Most of their other products say 2 years. I then emailed them twice. I said apparently since they don’t make enough money on me with the discount I can see I must not be important enough to even to reply too. And they have not! Not even something saying we don’t care that we will lose your business over what at the end of the day ends up being more about customer service than the product itself. I am so disappointed and sad that this is how I was viewed as a customer. I know I will pay more elsewhere however people really just want to know one thing… That they matter.
