About the product

Mary’s Nutritionals claims that The Remedy is a full-spectrum hemp extract. We confirmed that this product is a full-spectrum hemp extract that includes CBD, THC, CBN, CBG, and CBDV.

The Remedy has one of the most confusing CBD product labels that we’ve seen. The front of the bottle only lists 12.5 grams of weight. The box claims to have 500 mg of hemp extract. Our testing found 432.989 mg of cannabinoids per bottle, including 412.941 mg of CBD.

We found that Mary’s Nutritionals contained 13.4% fewer cannabinoids than suggested by their label.

Update: Their website now claims 500 mg of CBD for this product. Our lab tests found 17.4% fewer mg of CBD than Mary’s Nutritionals now claims.

About the company

The good:

The bad:

  • This product’s packaging may be confusing for consumers. They only list “12.5 grams” weight on the front of the bottle. Most people are looking for cannabinoid levels (mg) and the size (mL) of the product.
  • The size of the bottle is odd and listed at 0.4 oz (11.8 mL). However, many distributors list this product as 0.42 oz or 12.5 mL. A standard size (for example 0.5 oz or 15 mL) would be easier to understand.
  • The serving size is only given in drops. Many hemp companies provide the serving size in mL and even show the serving size on the dropper.

The internet:

  • An extensive internet search for Mary’s Nutritionals and Mary’s Medicinals found no reports of inconsistency, toxins, pesticides, metals, fake products, or unethical business practices.
