We purchased this CBD product and tested it at independent testing facilities to measure levels of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids and compare the results to the manufacturer's claims. Here are the results. (Learn more about our review process.)
The unadulterated test results on this page come directly from these certificates of analysis from two independent labs, which we pay directly. These are two independent lab tests of one product, at one point in time. We do not guarantee that all products or labs will produce the same results. Lab results may differ based on the different methodologies of testing used by each lab or inconsistencies in the product. Added ingredients may affect lab results. Volume of creams and edibles may change due to factors such as temperature, and this may impact lab results. Learn more about our review process.
R + R Medicinals claims to have 25 mg of cannabinoids per 1-gummy serving (8.3 g). Based on our lab results, which measured in grams, we found that each 1 gummy serving contains a total of 23.67 mg of cannabinoids, including 23.34 mg of CBD and 0.18 mg of THC.
*It's common to see CBD doses at 5 mg, 15 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg for consumer products. Researchers use much larger doses (25 mg to 1500 mg of CBD). CBD dosing is highly individualized.
Instructions: Take 1-2 gummies per day.
R + R Medicinals claims this is a full spectrum CBD product. Lab A confirmed that it is a full-spectrum hemp extract that contains CBD, THC, CBDV, and CBG. However, Lab B only detected CBD.
The independent labs found that R + R Medicinals gummy rings contained 4.9% to 13.6% less cannabinoids than suggested by their label.
I've tested many R+R Medicinals products in the past and they've all tested well. My only complaint was that they did not list CBD amounts on their website (many CBD companies don't list "CBD" for marketing regulations). However, they've updated their website to let you know precisely how much CBD you're getting. Their CBD oil is also now USDA Organic certified.
These gummies tested well. Lab A found that they were within 5 percent accurate. This is from a full-spectrum extract and they provided a certificate of analysis that is accurate. Like the other gummies I've tested, it doesn't contain many other cannabinoids. The additional cannabinoids may have been too low for detection by lab B, but lab A was able to accurately measure low levels of THC and CBG. Each gummy is over 8 grams, so the small amounts of THC and CBG that Lab A found add up and may provide some of those benefits of a full-spectrum extract. At about 25 mg of CBD per gummy, you shouldn't be disappointed. These little guys are potent.
The taste of all these "multi-flavored" gummies is fantastic. There's no hemp flavor. The granny smith apple tastes like the sour belt candy or sour strips you would get at a candy store. If you don't like sour strips, this isn't for you. The palisade peach and alpine strawberry in this jar are also excellent.
The price is excellent at around 6 cents per milligram of CBD. It's less than half of the cost of the average gummy (13 cents per mg).
R+R Medicinals did an excellent job with these gummies. They have consistently tested well at my labs, and they have great prices.
