We purchased this CBD product and tested it at independent testing facilities to measure levels of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids and compare the results to the manufacturer's claims. Here are the results. (Learn more about our review process.)
The unadulterated test results on this page come directly from these certificates of analysis from two independent labs, which we pay directly. These are two independent lab tests of one product, at one point in time. We do not guarantee that all products or labs will produce the same results. Lab results may differ based on the different methodologies of testing used by each lab or inconsistencies in the product. Added ingredients may affect lab results. Volume of creams and edibles may change due to factors such as temperature, and this may impact lab results. Learn more about our review process.
Social CBD claims to have 25 mg of cannabinoids per serving, where the serving size is 2 gummies (10g). Based on our lab results, which measured in grams, we found that each 2-gummy serving contains a total of 24.28 mg of cannabinoids, including 22.84 mg of CBD and 0 mg of THC.
*It's common to see CBD doses at 5 mg, 15 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg for consumer products. Researchers use much larger doses (25 mg to 1500 mg of CBD). CBD dosing is highly individualized.
Instructions: Take two gummies as needed throughtout the day.
Social CBD claims this is a broad spectrum product, which should contain CBD, other cannabinoids, and no THC. Our lab tests confirmed that it is a borderline broad spectrum hemp extract that contains CBD, CBG, and no THC.
The independent labs found that these Social CBD gummies contained 2.8% to 3.6% less cannabinoids than suggested by their label.
Alright, Social CBD broad-spectrum gummies. It has some CBG. Each gummy is 5 grams and the CBG ads up to well over 0.5 mg, which is good. This is substantially more per dose than their broad-spectrum CBD drops, because each gummy is about 5 times the size of a liquid dropper. Most broad-spectrum products only contain CBD, so this decent.
9 cents per milligram of CBD is decent because the average is about 13 cents for gummies.
I thought the red raspberry flavor was excellent. Zero hemp flavor and it kind of tastes like a red vine.
The labs found their CBD levels are exceptionally accurate and their other products I tested in the past also had proper CBD amounts. 25 mg is a potent dose per serving (2 gummies) that should have you feeling relaxed.
Social CBD is one of the biggest brands and this is an ok-dokey deal.
