Spruce claims to have 25 mg of CBD per 1 mL serving. We found that each 1 mL serving contains about 26 mg of CBD, 0.6 mg of THC, 0.7 mg of CBC, 0.6 mg of CBG, and possibly trace levels of other cannabinoids.

*It's common to see CBD doses at 5 mg, 15 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg for consumer products. Researchers use much larger doses (25 mg to 1500 mg of CBD). CBD dosing is highly individualized.

About the product

Spruce claims this is a full spectrum hemp extract. Our lab tests confirmed a full spectrum hemp extract containing CBD, THC, CBC, CBG, and trace levels of other cannabinoids.

The independent labs found that Spruce’s 750 mg formula contained 5% to 7% more CBD than suggested by their label.

Jeremy's Take

Spruce is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. The company offers premium CBD oils at premium prices.

The cost is above average, at 11 cents per milligram of CBD. That’s typical for a premium CBD brand that does a lot of advertising.

The peppermint flavor was good, but the hemp oil it's mixed in was a bit thick. Spruce has many cannabinoids, which usually come with a bitter taste, but this was smooth.

25 mg of CBD is a good size dose. Over 0.6 mg of THC will add some benefits. The small amounts of CBC and CBG may provide some additional relief and shows this is an excellent full spectrum extract.

The bottle is of high quality and the dropper is labeled. Spruce did a nice job with the branding. The logo and green design on a clear label look nice.

Overall Thoughts

It’s ok. The lab tests came out great. It’s a premium CBD oil at a premium price.
