We purchased this CBD product and tested it at independent testing facilities to measure levels of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids and compare the results to the manufacturer's claims. Here are the results. (Learn more about our review process.)
* Products tested prior to 2020 were sent to only one independent testing facility.
The unadulterated test results on this page come directly from these certificates of analysis from two independent labs, which we pay directly. These are two independent lab tests of one product, at one point in time. We do not guarantee that all products or labs will produce the same results. Lab results may differ based on the different methodologies of testing used by each lab or inconsistencies in the product. Added ingredients may affect lab results. Volume of creams and edibles may change due to factors such as temperature, and this may impact lab results. Learn more about our review process.
Sunsoil claims to have 10 mg of CBD per 1 mL serving. We found about 12 mg of CBD, 0.37 mg of THC, and a fair amount of CBDa and CBC. The THC might provide additional benefits but be aware that it’s enough to risk a failed drug test. The THC may also relax some sensitive individuals.
*It's common to see CBD doses at 5 mg, 15 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg for consumer products. Researchers use much larger doses (25 mg to 1500 mg of CBD). CBD dosing is highly individualized.
The average full-spectrum extract costs 10 cents per milligram of CBD. This Organic CBD is 4.2 cents per milligram. It's an excellent value.

Sunsoil claims this is a full-spectrum hemp extract. Our lab tests confirmed a full-spectrum hemp extract that contains CBD, THC, CBDA, CBC, CBG, and possibly trace levels of other cannabinoids. This is an excellent full-spectrum extract.
Lab B found that Sunsoil contained 18.3% more CBD than suggested by their label or a "B" score. A lot of CBD brands now give a little more CBD.
I sent Sunsoil to the lab last year and it tested well. I also had Sunsoil on my Best CBD Oils List for organic CBD at an excellent cost. Again, Sunsoil tested well as potent full-spectrum hemp extract. It's got a low amount of THC that might be perfect for people looking for extra relief without too much relaxation. This oil is unlikely to get you high but as always, test some before operating a tank or submarine. The natural peppermint chocolate taste is earthy and yet smooth. It's good for a full-spectrum extract, but it won't be pleasant for people who don't like hemp's natural taste. The variety of cannabinoids and low cost make this oil the best organic CBD product that I’ve lab tested.
