We purchased this CBD product and tested it at independent testing facilities to measure levels of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids and compare the results to the manufacturer's claims. Here are the results. (Learn more about our review process.)
The unadulterated test results on this page come directly from these certificates of analysis from two independent labs, which we pay directly. These are two independent lab tests of one product, at one point in time. We do not guarantee that all products or labs will produce the same results. Lab results may differ based on the different methodologies of testing used by each lab or inconsistencies in the product. Added ingredients may affect lab results. Volume of creams and edibles may change due to factors such as temperature, and this may impact lab results. Learn more about our review process.
Winged claims to have 12 mg of CBD per 1 mL serving. Lab B found around 12 mg of CBD and both labs found around 0.5 mg of THC.
*It's common to see CBD doses at 5 mg, 15 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg for consumer products. Researchers use much larger doses (25 mg to 1500 mg of CBD). CBD dosing is highly individualized.
This product contains primrose, which research suggests may be useful for the skin care and have efficacy in women’s health (PMS, menopause, etc.). This product is for women who want a full-spectrum CBD with low levels of THC and other cannabinoids. I'm impressed by their elegant bottle, packaging, and overall appearance. This fancy looking bottle is an excellent deal at about 7 cents per milligram of CBD.
Winged claims this is a full-spectrum hemp extract, which should contain CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids. Our lab tests confirmed that it is a full-spectrum hemp extract that contains CBD, THC, and trace amounts of other cannabinoids. However, the trace amounts of other cannabinoids were below the reporting level of lab B.
Both labs found slightly more CBD than suggested by Winged’s label. Lab B found Winged to be extremely accurate.
Winged recommends using this product sublingually or adding it to coffee or smoothies.
