Why do we review CBD products?
My name is Jeremy Orozco and I am the author of this website, CBDexamine.com, and the book Hemp for Migraine. People often ask me a simple question, “Which CBD product should I buy?” That question is harder to answer than you’d think. I believe that CBD will help many people, but there is a dark secret about most CBD products. Most CBD products are mislabeled or completely fake, according to the FDA. My goal is to find the great CBD products that may help you, as well as show you the CBD products that have inaccurate cannabinoid levels.
How we review products
We buy CBD products and test them at an independent laboratory for accurate levels of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids. The testing facility uses high-performance liquid chromatography to obtain the most reliable levels of cannabinoids. It is an ISO 17025 certified laboratory, which is an international gold standard of accreditation to produce accurate, precise data.
We base every CBD review on the cannabinoid levels taken directly from the certificate of analysis of our independent laboratory. We post a link to the official lab results on each review, which makes us more transparent than all other CBD review websites (at the time of this writing: June 2019).
We compare the accuracy and cannabinoid levels found in each product review to dozens of other CBD products that we have tested.
Our reviews, lab testing, and photography are completed in California.
CBD manufacturers do not influence our reviews. The lab test results displayed in each review are provided by a third-party facility that I pay directly and that is completely independent from the product tested. Results are always published, good or bad, and never changed or altered.
